Mr. Mention, a.k.a. Mr. Reed is from Mandeville, Manchester, Jamaica. He
has been playing JAH's music of peace and love around the world for the last
eleven years. He has performed for crowds in many cities; in the Dutch
West Indies, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Poland, USA (New York,
Miami, Tampa, San Francisco, Sacramento),Tunisia, Puerto Rico, and the
US Virgin Islands to mention a few. Mr. Mention's charisma, energy and
powerful voice have entertained crowds in European Festivals such; Febio
Fest, Reggae Meeting, Urban Rapublic, and Snow Slash. His warm smile
has lit up many a club and his powerful words have soother many a soul. He
released a demo in Eastern Europe a few years ago and is now looking
forward to releasing his new full length reggae CD. Mr. Mention has
performed along side; Makka B, Pato Banton, Capleton, Jr. Reid, Daddy
Freddy, Bongo Chili, Roy Brown, and many more.
Mr. Mention is a singer, MC, reggae musician, and artist. His goal is to lively
up the world with positive lyrics about love, truth and rights! Mr. Reed is his
Blues stage name. He fell in love with the blues at a young age. This love for
the blues was rekindled when he met is blues partner, mentor and friend,
Randy Crow. Together they have released their first blues CD “Prague
Sessions” (2008). Unfortunately, Mr. Crow passed away suddenly in a small
Costa Rican town. He is now performing solo, with his acoustic guitar,
around the USA.
